Webinar Title: TCE: Then and now, and beyond

Abstract:

T-cell engagers (TCEs) represent a transformative immunotherapy capable of precisely directing T cells to eliminate diseased cells, having already demonstrated significant efficacy in hematologic malignancies. Currently, TCE development is expanding from hematologic tumors to solid tumors, and from oncology to autoimmune diseases. However, widespread clinical application still faces substantial challenges, including on-target off-tumor toxicity, cytokine release syndrome (CRS), tumor antigen escape, and T-cell exhaustion. Overcoming these hurdles requires enhancing specificity, optimizing molecular design, balancing between anti-tumor potency and safety profile, and developing synergistic combination strategies.

In this frontier field, Dr. Xiaoqiang Kang—Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Leads Biolabs—will discuss the current landscape of TCE development and the challenges the field faces. He will also share his strategic insights on next-generation TCE development and introduce Leads Biolabs' innovative, differentiated platforms: LeadsBody® and ImBiTDCTM. Looking ahead, by continuously driving innovation to overcome key bottlenecks, TCE therapies are poised to expand into a much broader spectrum of therapeutic areas.

Speaker Bio:
