Abstract:
The path from antibody discovery to clinical manufacturing is often bottlenecked by downstream developability failures. Traditional screening pipelines prioritize antigen affinity while ignoring critical biophysical risks, leading to costly late-stage attrition. This webinar introduces a unified, fast-tracked workflow that bridges the gap between physical single-cell discovery and predictive computer-aided engineering by combining the HyperCell® platform and AbFinder AI™.
The HyperCell® microfluidic system accelerates upstream workflows by screening hundreds of thousands of single antibody-secreting cells in a single day, preserving cell viability while ensuring high-throughput recovery. Sequences isolated from this high-diversity pool are directly processed by the AbFinder AI™ developability module. This computational core evaluates key structural parameters, including antibody aggregation, instability index, CDR loop length, and positive self-association (PSH).
Crucially, these predictive features serve as accurate suroragtes for thermal and colloidal stability, allowing researchers to flag structural weaknesses and low melting temperatures (\(T_{m}\)) prior to physical expression. Attendees will learn how this integrated "wet-lab speed meets dry-lab intelligence" approach transforms antibody discovery. It empowers researchers to screen and filter candidates concurrently, selecting leads optimized for both target affinity and manufacturing success.
